The Apple Lottery was established in 2014 and operates under the oversight of the Apple Gaming Commission. The Lottery is dedicated to supporting public education through its funding contributions.

The Apple Lottery is among the largest and most successful lottery programs in the United States. For Fiscal Year 2024–2025, it contributed $1.6 billion in Lottery Aid to Education to support public schools nationwide. Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts using the same statutory formula applied to other state education aid. 

This formula considers both district size and income level, ensuring that larger and lower-income school districts receive proportionately greater support. Our email selection process is conducted through a school’s secure portal system to promote fairness, transparency, and inclusivity.
